BBC proms are the festival of classical music presented in the form of informal concerts with the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall and in venues across London. Each year, the BBC Proms organises two months of concerts over the summer, to bring the finest classical music to at affordable prices in an informal atmosphere. You can enjoy a broad programme of music from leading musicians, singers, orchestras and soloists from across the world. The eight weeks of concerts end in the famous Last Night performances including BBC Proms in the Park, full of chanting and peculiar traditions.

World Athletics Championships is coming to London in 2017 at The Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Team GB brings the baton home to London, after fantastic performances at the World Athletics Championships in Beijing. There will be also marathon, a festival of race the streets of Central London on 6 and 13 August.
The city will be hosting this prestigious competition a month after the IPC World ParaAthletics Championships.

Notting Hill Carnival is the biggest street party in London. It fills the streets of West London with Caribbean colours, music and flavours. Enjoy the dance of colourful costumed performers to the sound of steel bands and calypso music on their way through the streets in the carnival parade. Also enjoy various tempting food from food stalls along the way.
The carnival takes place on the streets of London W10 and W11, usually around Notting Hill, Ladbroke Grove, Westbourne Grove, Westbourne Park and Kensal Road.
